Why did your boyfriend get together with you in the first place? It was because he felt strong emotions around you and you felt strong emotions around him! If you’re anything like most couples, you found that you just couldn’t spend much time apart without at least thinking of each other. This is often referred to as “chemistry”, a “spark”, a “flame”, or indeed, “love.”

Unfortunately it seems that somehow the strength of his emotions for you has weakened. Unfortunately, this tends to happen in long term relationships if you don’t know the proper way to manage your relationship.

My point is that if you really want your boyfriend back, then you have to begin to focus on rebuilding that lost spark of attraction. You can’t convince your ex to come back to you; he left you for emotional reasons. Recharging his feelings for you is the key.
