Is it just me or does every kid complain about having to do chores? Its like every kid is born with an anti-work gene. So how do you get the kids to do the work that they should be doing anyway? Can you yell and scream until they do it? How do you get them to do those things and want to do them without complaining?

Younger children do not need to do a perfect job, as long as they give it a good effort. It can be difficult to get a child to understand the difference between doing something just to get it done and doing something right. It is a tough concept to explain to a child, and usually if they hear that something is not worth doing if you are not going to do it right the first time, they decide not to do it at all.
